It’s the way you style your hair and outfits, the way you enter a room and take a seat at the table. It’s the expression in your eyes, the tension in your lips, the sound of your voice, the words you string together to narrate a story, and how you make meaning of personal experiences and public occurrences. Despite your best efforts to fit in, you never truly belong.

I know Jesus can but is he willing to act on my behalf? I know Jesus answers other’s pleas, petitions but when and how will he answer mine?

There is no shortcut to waiting. Waiting is not delaying gratification filled with empty distractions. It is not powering through.
